We are currently recruiting for a manager for our café in Liffey Valley. This role involves providing a professional café & Hospitality Service, ensuring that company standards are maintained and that Customer expectations are met within the agreed objectives for the location.  We believe this role is ideally suited to someone who has worked in a similar role and enjoys working with a large team of 15+ people.

Role profile

o To set objectives and be responsible for the day to day running all aspects of the catering operation, including supervising the recruitment and selection process to ensure that it effectively meets the need of the location and Thunders Home Bakery & Deli Management.

o To assess employee performance and recognise training needs and potential as appropriate.

o To ensure that the location achieves, as a minimum, the financial targets agreed in line with the budget.

o To monitor the work of all food service staff and carry out appraisals ensuring that information is filed appropriately, with development plans that are actively used.

o To hold team meetings on a regular basis to communicate targets, standards required and company and customer information. o To control and achieve agreed financial targets whilst maximising all commercial opportunities.

o To develop and evolve all food services at location, ensuring regular adjustments and improvements are both recommended and implemented.

o To ensure that the location meets statutory and company requirements of Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislations and procedures.

o To ensure that customers are given a prompt and efficient service and expectations are consistently exceeded.

o To regularly monitor customer feedback and produce a suitable action plan based on the results. Applicants must have proven experience in a similar role.
